National hero, Lee Chong Wei continued his fine run in the Indonesia Open Superseries Premier after disappointing the local fans with a convincing win over Indonesia’s upcoming star, Ihsan Maulana Mustofa in the semi-finals today.
Chong Wei had an easy win in the first game 21-9, however, the second one was a bit of a thriller when the score was 19-18 but Chong Wei being the more experienced one made use of that advantage to overcome Ihsan, 21-18.
The two times silver medalist will meet Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark in the finals tomorrow. The last time the Malaysian won a title was two months ago at the Badminton Asia Championships. Chong Wei has a record of winning the Danish fifteen times and hopes are on him to seal yet another victory.
As for Vivian/ Khe Wei, they tried their best but their opponents proved to be too strong for them losing the match, 21/15, 21-9.
